What is something that can always make you feel better?

Hearing from certain people (some people don't pass this test), especially when it's out of the blue - mail, email, phone call, whatever. I just love the contact and it makes me feel good. That reminds me, I have a phone call to return - oops.
Sorry for the serious lack of writing in recent days. Very busy fellow right now. Some things simply demand proliferation, though, and this happens to be one of those things.
I got this from here, where Things Worth Looking At are more common than not. In fact, come to think of it, I believe that might have been where I found the other awesome Dark Knight photo-manipulation I posted a few days ago.
michelle already posted a good one for redzilla, so now I present to you:
for cranky, from sherman's lagoon:
and for IG, from savage chickens:
Work has been horrible. Stupid Barbie girls and idiots not want to give me their fucking IDs. I have been patent with you people but you are getting on my last nerve So Stop being asses.
Wiwi Trapp would like me to know that Britney Spears is Actually a Piece of Broccoli.
This is the second night in a row that I can smell a skunk in the area. Anyone got a spare bedroom I can crash in for a few nights?
What is the one word that perfectly describes your day today?

Is "Beachtaculous" a word? We're going to the coast for a few days, for J to take a break from work and for me to chase little shorebirds across the sand.
Actually I'll just be looking at some tidal flats and salt marshes to figure out a method of researching birds out there without getting eaten by the salt monster that lives at the beach. Or something like that.
I'll be online, though. Pictures soon!
Saxophonist LeRoi Moore of Dave Matthews Band has died of complications from an ATV accident. He was 46.
Shame.
I liked his contribution to the band very much. I was a big fan of DMB back in college and a while after, and still enjoy many of their songs. Crash is one of my most favorite albums in my collection, especially considering I stopped collecting CDs in the late 90's after mp3s took off and I finally eluded the BMG collection goons once and for all. (Nobody here knows me, got it?)
I mean, I didn't sit barefoot in wet grass smoking doobs and mouth-kissing my dog at concerts or anything, I just liked Dave's music.
Anyway, he was a talented guy. They all are. Shame.
I dig this. Sort of reminds me of what our heroes did in Sean of the Dead in order to reach the Winchester Pub.
That one fish up in front using the spot on his tail to form the eye is pretty cool, but the subtler, more impressive detail is that the shark-shaped school has its own group of pilot fish tagging along.
